Depot Tours Are Back! 

Experience a behind-the-scenes look at the RCMP Training Academy Depot Division, featuring special access to observe the daily Sergeant Major’s Parade on the historic parade square!

Hop aboard our trolleys for a two-hour-long, guided tour with stops at:

• The historic Chapel – the oldest building in Regina
• The Cenotaph and eternal flame – commemorating the brave Mounties who have lost their lives in duty
• Learn about the ‘Town of Buffalo’
• Observe the Sergeant Major’s Parade, where you’ll witness the incredible dismounted cavalry drill by real Cadets

• Tours are closed on the following days:

Our Depot Tour package gives you an exclusive seat on the trolley tour for Sgt. Major’s parade.
Depot Tours also include admission to the RCMP Heritage Centre museum galleries to explore at your leisure after the tour!

Guarantee your spot on the Depot Tour by pre-registering.

Tickets available for purchase online. Daily walk-in tickets are dependent on availability. Visitors a re encouraged to pre-register to secure a spot. 

All guests, pre-registered and walk-ins, must be at the Centre to sign in by 11:00 am  

Pre-registration guarantees you are on the tour on the day you select.
Pre-registration payments are non-refundable except for the case of cancellation due to inclement weather.

Know Before You Go

• The RCMP Academy is an active training site and a secure facility. Access is controlled. No photography or filming will be permitted on any part of the tour.
• Guests must be at the Heritage Centre by 11:00 am to sign in for the tour, whether pre-registered or not.
• Guests who have pre-registered will be given priority access, and the remainder of the seats are first come, first served.
• Guests are required to register including; signing in at the Heritage Centre, providing full name and address, and providing photo ID, which will be kept in a secure place at the RCMP Heritage Centre for the duration of the tour of Depot.
• Bags and personal items, including phones, must be stored at the Heritage Centre during the tour of Depot. We have lockers for use and storage of personal items.
• Individuals with mobility challenges or a disability are asked to call ahead.

Tour Cancellation Notification

When a tour is cancelled due to unforeseen events, we contact all pre-registered guests to either change their tour date or provide them with a refund.
As the tour is outdoors, we are subject to cancellation when extreme weather events arise, such as:

Air Quality:

When the Air Quality Health Index (AQHI) reaches levels that pose a health risk (typically 7 or higher), or when smoke/visibility impacts the experience.

Severe Weather:

Including but not limited to:

• Lightning or thunderstorms
• Heavy rain or hail
• Extreme heat (e.g., heat warnings, humidex approaching or exceeding ~32°C)
• High winds that create unsafe conditions (Orange or Red Warning)
