About Us

About Us

The RCMP Heritage Centre, located in Regina, Saskatchewan, is the only museum in Canada dedicated exclusively to showcasing Canada's history and the evolving story of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP).

Our immersive galleries, educational programs, and community events offer engaging experiences that blend tradition, innovation, and reflection.

We connect with Canadians and visitors worldwide in meaningful and accessible ways, celebrating the RCMP’s historical contributions while also creating space for dialogue and exploring difficult truths with dignity and compassion.

At its core, the Heritage Centre is a place of discovery, reflection, and reconciliation. Through dynamic programming, we acknowledge diverse experiences that shape our nation’s story.

We Are a Non-Profit

As a non-profit cultural institution, not owned, operated, or funded by the RCMP, the Centre stands as a unique destination where Canadian history and the legacy of one of the country’s most iconic institutions come to life.

Every visit, admission, donation, and purchase made by visitors supports this mission—helping preserve history, provide education for students across the country, foster understanding, and ensure Canada’s stories are shared for generations to come.

Vision

The RCMP Heritage Centre is a place of discovery, exploration, reflection, and reconciliation.

Mission

Our mission is to share the many stories of the RCMP through multiple perspectives. We provide an opportunity to contextualize policing in civil society, for a deeper understanding of Canada—our history, our people, and our communities.
